Thuli Thuli Haricharan, Tanvi
A sweet, romantic melody sung by graceful voiced Haricharan. The acoustic bass adds pep to the song that is quite familiar in its style of instrumentation. Yuvan has a penchant for the Akon style rap and strings which is once again reiterated in the background used in this song.
Tanvi accompanies the male lead in the humming and the interludes of the song is mostly filled a whole load of strings. The shortcoming is despite its neatness the number gets monotonous towards the end.
An average romantic score!
Poongatre Poongatre Benny Dayal
For a different taste for the music lovers, music director had ventured into the world of Rock with this number sung by Benny Dayal. In the high pitch notes of the song one can't deny the number has a resemblance to Jennifer Lopez's 'Waiting For Tonight'.
The song is mild and quite slow in its pace. The songster Benny's voice suits it quite aptly while some feast like visuals could bolster it. Electric guitar in the middle is not up to the mark as it had been underplayed for listeners here and maybe it would take bit more time for fans to cope up with Rock who are drenched in the Pop mania.
New attempt!
Adada Mazhaida Rahul Nambiar, Saindhavi
Comes the rural beat 'Adada Mazhaida' sung by Rahul Nambiar and Saindhavi. For Yuvan, this is not his usual genre of songs but he is quite good at it. This number carries a vivid pick from his score for 'Sandaikozhi'. All the while, the rural drum beat is very monotonous and doesn't pull us into the song. The only saving grace for this number could be good choreography.
Quite a cliched song in the stylish 'Paiyya' and just meagerly passes musters with the flute interlude.
