U.S. President Barrack Obama assured Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that the their country is committed to implement the civil nuclear agreement and it would pave way for a brighter future in a mutually beneficial manner.
The joint meeting at the White House On Tuesday is considered to be a successful event as the President was affirmative about the agreement and also said the U.S. is always open to facilitate a friendly bond with India saying, it is one of the 'defining partnerships of the 21st century'.
India was invited to take leadership in improvising the role of Asia in the international community and spear head the countries as one. A certain delay was witnessed during the talks and negotiations were suspended after some protests came from the speakers' side.
According to reports by Press Trust of India, the U.S. and India had signed five pacts including an act on counter-terrorism to suppress weapons of mass destruction and find solutions for 'Advancing Global Security and Counter Terrorism'. Also Indo-US Clean Energy Research project was launched for healthy lifestyle and methods to implement it.
