The Common Admission Test (CAT) faced trouble on the first day of the scheduled exams after the servers crashed at a lab in SRM University. Nearly 100 students who were at the venue to finish the exam were left disappointed and had to return home due to this unforeseen circumstance.
Somehow, it was rectified at the earliest and the second day of the exams was conducted smoothly without interruptions much to the relief of the students. Those who failed to attempt the exams will be allowed to complete it in the rescheduled date in over 24 centres across 49 labs in the country.
Students reported the question papers were much easier compared to those in the year 2008 and authorities had concluded the test to be quite successful as they were able to attend all the three sections; verbal, quantitative aptitude and data interpretation.
