Karunanidhi Refutes Jayalalitha's Allegation

July 27, 2009 10:30:00
For Jayalalitha's allegation on the ruling party DMK for not confirming the employment of TASMAC employees, Mr. Karunanidhi has replied in a statement refuting that it is baseless.

In the statement, Mr. Karunanidhi said, 'The industrial union of AIADMK has convened a protest on behalf of the 36, 000 TASMAC employees to demand their rights. On July 27, the protest will take place in front of the collector office of Erode in which employees of TASMAC will be in active participation. The statement itself is baseless as a protest on behalf of entire state being organized in one of the district headquarters is inane.'

The allegation on DMK is they have discriminated the workers for the sole reason that they were hired during the ruling period of AIADMK. Jayalalitha has made such a statement without profound thoughts as an increase in pay hike was announced for them just a fortnight back. The work hours has been reduced from 16 hours to 12 hours a day. The employees are happy than they were in the rule of AIADMK.

DMK has never discriminated the people who were hired in the previous government but Jayalalitha dismissed more than 11, 000 road workers for the sole reason. Ardently believing the words of astrologers, she built a sand castle with the help of her close friend camping at guest house in Delhi to be placed in the hot seat at Central. When the dream shattered, Jayalalitha has lost her cool and is going to participate in this not-so motivational protest.
