It's now official that Tamanna is to be paired up with Jayam Ravi in the remake of the Telugu flick 'Kick' which will go to the floors shortly.

Jayam Ravi's father editor B Mohan produces the film on their home banner and his brother Raja who earlier rendered back-to-back hits will direct the movie. The Telugu version starring Ileana and Ravi Teja was a runaway hit. The makers always roped in the heroines to Tamil films including Sadha in 'Jayam' and Genelia in 'Santosh Subramaniam'. But this time despite efforts Ileana couldn't allot dates due to busy schedules.

With the hot and happening heroine Tamanna in the cast padded with a tested script, it might be just another hit from the production house famed for family entertainers. Tamanna readily agreed to do the project by making space in her call sheet diary as she liked the Telugu movie and is also confident that the production banner would boost up her career.
